Smart House

Anyone who spends any amount of time with me knows I have had an obsession for a while. I’m not a huge car fan and I don’t really care what I drive but the little Smart car won my heart when I was in Italy and I’ve been waiting anxiously for it to come to the states. Well the time is almost here (Jan 30th) and last night I blew of the auto show since there is only one car I really wanted to see anyway and I went to the Smart House in Venice Beach.  I was like a food addict at a buffet and I only wish I had more time there. The Smart House is located in the revived shopping district in Downtown Venice Beach. and they have converted a house into a Smart display center. They have one in the living room,

one on the 3 story balcony,

and in the Garage they have a regular Smart and the convertible. The people at the store were great and they gave me a big book called Smartism that’s all about the concept of the smart as well as concept art and future ideas. I also got a few key chains, book marks, brochures, and other things I don’t really need. If anyone is in Venice stop by and visit the smart house. Beautiful things

More then most people know I really enjoy beautiful things and especially nature.  I go Mt Biking almost more in the hope of seeing something I deem beautiful rather then the joy of the ride.  I rode yesterday for the first time in a while and it was late day with the sun beaming through the oaks.  Hope you enjoy

The Shade of Poison Trees

It’s my favorite time of year!! Today really felt like fall to me and a perfect fall day brings happy memories and reminds me of New York for some reason. The funny part is I think more of the quite parks or a empty street between some brown stone apartment buildings rather then the busy streets.

Artsy

I don’t consider myself much of an artist, or at least not without a musical instrument in my hand. I do enjoy taking pictures and wish I had a better eye for it. I am very excited over how a certain picture came out though.

Entitlement

For those of you who don’t know me or I haven’t spoke to in a while may not know that I currently work in Orange County California. Everyday I’m reminded of that by my interactions with the locals.  I never experienced a population so consumed by social status and how important they think they are.
